Trégunc and its region:

The commune of Trégunc is located on the Atlantic coast in Finistère, south of Concarneau and west of Pont-Aven. The town center, situated inland, occupies a somewhat isolated position in the north of the commune. The coastline consists of beaches and rocky headlands. Between the headlands of La Jument to the west and Trévignon to the east, the coast is low-lying, forming a straight dune ridge 6 km long. Several ponds, locally called "loc'h," have formed behind this sandy ridge. The largest are named Loc'h Louargar and Loc'h Coziou. This area has been a protected natural zone since 1982, where salt and fresh water from the sea and coastal streams mix. To the east of the Trévignon headland, cliffs and shorter beaches extend: Trez Cao beach, Don beach, Kersidan beach. The Trévignon headland, on which stands an "old fort", juts out into the ocean towards the southwest, and constitutes the southernmost point of the commune .

The Concarneau, Trégunc, Névez region is first and foremost about the sea, the beaches and the countryside.
From the vast beaches, where hiking trails will lead you, to the most intimate countryside, everything here contributes to immersing you from the moment you arrive in a resolutely Breton and authentic atmosphere.
While Concarneau, a seaside resort, port city, and historical and cultural hub, will seduce you with its many charms, precious discoveries await you in its immediate surroundings.

Below we offer you a modest, and necessarily incomplete, tour.

About ten kilometers away in Concarneau you will find the best that tourist and summer life has to offer: the walled city, with its ramparts, its shops, its port, its many cultural events, both during the day and at night...
Everything is designed for pleasure and comfort.

Another must-see destination is Pont-Aven. You'll appreciate its art galleries, its famous galettes, and the gentle, tranquil banks of the Aven river.

This page of images cannot be complete; there are so many landscapes to see, so many people to meet...
We should have introduced you to Bénodet, which has the particular charm of a small seaside resort with a strong identity, Fouesnant, its charming beaches, its gastronomy, shown you the banks of the Belon, tried to make you share the peace that emanates from it... and made you want to savor the famous oysters in their original setting.

We should also have talked about Locronan, a vast living museum, frozen in the 15th century, and mentioned Douarnenez, the city with four ports, a city at the end of the world, a city with old rigging.
To evoke Crozon, the Pointe du Raz, Quimper, the Black Mountains, the Bigouden region...
It would have been necessary, certainly, but we preferred to leave you the pleasure of discovering for yourselves all the riches, so varied, so memorable, that our beautiful region offers.
